The Backspin Buddy™ is made from a very hard tool steel (A2) and heat treated to 64 Rockwell so that the edges will not dull by using these on your golf clubs.

There are two ends: A "U" end, and a "V" end, both approved by the USGA, and both ends manufactured to standards set by the USGA. In addition, this wedge groove sharpener and re-grooving tool is designed to work with the grooves of any of the major brands of golf clubs.

Designed For Ease of Use

The Backspin Buddy™ comes with rubber end caps. The Backspin Buddy™ was designed so that you can determine which end you are getting (the "U" or the "V") without having to remove the caps first. The "U" and "V" ends are identified on BOTH sides of The Backspin Buddy™ for ease of use.

The Backspin Buddy™ is also one of the larger golf club groove sharpeners on the market. There are several wonderful designs in the marketplace in both retail stores and on eBay, however, many of the designs are small and more difficult to use, or have other features that I personally wasn't interested in.
